Precise Sensing of Leaf Temperatures for Smart Farm Applications

Leaf temperature represents the mixed effects of solar radiation, temperature, and CO2 enrichment on potential production greenhouse vegetables. However, smart farm applications that monitor account for changes in leaf are limited. This study developed new hardware software components sensing integrated into a conventional system. We demonstrated system to temperatures improve crop yield at two tomato strawberry farms South Korea. observed rapid decline both when indoor air decreased. pattern often corresponds stagnant assimilation. The results suggest is practical slow aeration heating required optimize photosynthetic efficiency, especially morning become high (over 25 °C). Specifically, implementation with increased tomatoes by 28–43%. Furthermore, our highlights need develop models farming interact nutrient water supplies.
